Doug oversees the day-to-day operations of SPPI and is directly involved in all major transactions. He reports to ownership and directs the company accordingly. Doug is Past President of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce and current Chairman Elect of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. He has over 35 years experience in the industry and has been with SPPI for the last 24 years. He is a graduate of the University of California of Santa Barbara.

Senior Vice President / CFO

Mark oversees all financial aspects of the company with particular expertise in project financing, transactional closings and financial forecasting. He has over 34 years industry experience, with 25 years at SPPI. Mark is a California licensed CPA and Real Estate Broker. He holds a B.A. Accounting/Finance from San Francisco State University.

General Counsel

Josh Taylor serves as the General Counsel for Sierra Pacific Properties Inc. He has broad experience in commercial real estate transactions and has a depth of experience in real estate acquisition, sale, development, financing, leasing and management for owners, developers, investors, managers, and lending institutions. He is a trusted, insightful, and creative business-focused problem solver with a strong track record of providing legal counsel in complex real estate transactions and day-to-day business operations. Josh is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and the University of California College of Law SF.

Vice President, Office Properties

Kurt Hysen joined Sierra Pacific Properties, Inc. in 2012. Currently, he is responsible for the office property operations for the company's office building division consisting of over 1.3 million square feet. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Hysen managed and leased commercial real estate portfolios for PS Business Parks, Pacific Gulf Properties, Prentiss Properties and Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Hysen is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California. He received his Real Property Administrator's (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association. He graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Finance and Real Estate.

Bob manages the industrial, business park and retail properties and works in conjunction with Doug Messner in the leasing efforts of those properties. Bob has 16 years of industry experience and is in his 14th year with Sierra Pacific Properties. He is a Board of Director with the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce and holds a BS from the University of San Francisco in Economics.

Ernest oversees the residential division of Sierra Pacific consisting of five multifamily apartment communities and a diverse single family homes portfolio. Ernest has 23 years experience in the residential real estate industry and has been with Sierra Pacific since 2011. Ernest is affiliated with California Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, IREM and the California Department of Real Estate.

Grace handles the operation accounting and reporting aspects of the company. She has extensive experience in Real Estate Accounting. Prior employer including SteelWave, Woodmont, Federal Reality Investment Trust, Spieker Properties and Trammel Crow. Grace holds a B.S. Business Administration, major in Accounting from California State University, Hayward.
